Hey lovelies!
Christmas is only a couple of days away now, where has this year gone?! I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you a very Merry Christmas (or happy holidays, whichever you prefer!) before the big day! I wanted to revisit which is probably my favourite stamp set I've bought for the holidays this year, Mama Elephant's "Yappy Woofmas" set is just too adorable for words!
I stamped a couple of the images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them using my alcohol markers. I added some highlights with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out. I just had to use the cute fluffy dog wrapped in the Christmas lights as he looks like my parents' dog, as this was their card for this year I couldn't resist!
I cut a panel from the Mama Elephant "Framed Tags" Waverly Creative Cuts and ink blended it using Broken China and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink. I distressed it using my distress sprayer and once it was dry I drew small dots using a white gel pen for the snowy effect.
I cut another panel from white card stock using the same die, drew a hill shape across it and cut along the line before adhering it in to place.
I prepped my panel using my powder tool applicator, stamped my sentiment from My Favorite Things "Happy Pawlidays" stamp set on the white hillside using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. I popped my images up with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I decided to stamp Santa with his reindeer from Lawn Fawn's "Winter Skies" stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black ink to add a little extra to my panel. I cut the larger panel from the "Framed Tags" Creative Cuts and splattered it with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide ink and some white gold metallic watercolour paint for some shimmer before adhering everything to my card base.
Thanks for reading lovelies! I hope you all have a wonderful time over the holidays and I'll see you again just before the new year!
Claire
