Hey lovelies!
Today I wanted to share with you a card I made using Mama Elephant's "Cool Penguin" set! These penguins are just far too adorable I couldn't resist them!
I stamped my images out using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I added some details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting them out.
I cut a panel from white card stock and coated it with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink, sprayed it with my distress sprayer and cleaned up the excess water. I splattered it with some white watercolour paint to give it a wintery feel!
I cut the frame for my scene from the new Mama Elephant "Framed Tag" Waverly Creative Cuts, using the big scalloped die for the frame itself and the smaller one to cut the window from it. I cut a panel to lay my frame on from the "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant.
I stamped my sentiment directly on to my distress oxide background using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Once I decided my placement for all of the penguins I adhered everything down inside the scalloped frame. I popped the framed panel up with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape for extra dimension and adhered everything to my card base.
