Hey lovelies!
I thought I'd change it up from all the love themed posts this week and make a birthday card instead. Sea themed stamps are ones I've always struggled with, however I have a huge love for sharks and finally gave in to getting the "Sea-prise" stamp set from Avery Elle!

I stamped my images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them using my alcohol markers. I used a white gel pen to add highlights to my images and some texture to my pufferfish before fussy cutting them out.
I cut a panel from white card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant's "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts and cut a window in the panel using Honey Bee Stamps' "Double Stitched Circles" Honey Cuts. I stamped the little bubbles all over my panel using Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink to add a little more detail to my panel. Once my ink was completely dry (with no risk of me smudging it!) I stamped my sentiment above my circle window using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
I cut a panel from white card stock bigger than my circle window. I blended Broken China Distress Oxide Ink and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink on to my card stock, keeping Broken China towards the bottom of it. I sprayed it using my Distress Sprayer and cleaned off the excess water with a paper towel.
I backed my white panel with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and adhered the blue panel behind my window. I added some foam tape to the back of my shark and pufferfish also, adding the shark inside the circle and the pufferfish on the outer edge before adhering my entire panel to my card base.
Thanks for reading lovelies! I'll be back on Tuesday this week with the final of my Valentine's posts for this year! See you soon!
Claire
