I've had this set since before Christmas but have had to take some
time out due to a few injuries. However, I'm back now and couldn't
wait to use this set.
I've always found it a challenge to make masculine cards and
papercrafts but as soon as I opened these stamps I knew a box
would be perfect. The sentiment stamps are awesome as background
papers and the images are lush!
Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap, Vintage Photo, and Walnut Stain.
Once completely dry, I stamped the truck image onto 6 panels.
And stamped out one of the sentiments a bunch of times to make
background papers.
The finish of a project is really important to me and I take a lot of care
and detail when building my boxes.
Like the inside of the lids....And the outside.
I also lined my box with the same papers but made sure I sealed them
as Oxides are water activated and you could transfer colour onto
whatever you're putting
into your box.
It's time to assemble all the pieces, like the top/bottom lids
Attaching all the panels
This is a beautiful box and something very different to a stamped card.
And you can see all the details, like the position of the truck with the
Oxides and how lovely it looks with all the additional panels cut into the
Box.
I hope you've enjoyed this as an alternative to a card. All the men in my
house love it and I hope you do too!
Lots of love and hugs
