Good Morning Crafty Friends, I do hope your all keep well.

Today I have a blog post showing how to get a the most out of smaller stamp sets.

We tend to disregard them, thinking we are better off getting larger sets.

Think again my crafty friends. Here are just three of the techniques using them.

 1) Background Stamping a pattern background.

 2) Focus Using them to create a focal point.

 3) Repetitive  use them more than just once repeating many times.

Gina K Card Stock in Ocean Mist (ideally i would have used blue lagoon.) (Card One)

Lawn Fawn Card stock in Black Liq and a strip of black/white pattern paper. (Card Two)

Altenew Inks in a rainbow of colours but any brand would do. (Card Three)

Wow White Fine Embossing Powder

6 x 6 "Card Blank

Nuvo Drops Rainbow Colours Gloss and Gem

Method Card One

Step One choose your ink combination.

Mount your stamps on to acrylic blocks

Randomly stamp on to a piece of cardstock just a touch smaller than your card blank.

(I used 6 x 6 inch card black)

I started with the biggest images which were the flowers.

Then I over stamped the inside of the flowers and leaves in black. I used a embossing tool to create little dots in between. You stamp the round embossing tool in to the ink then stamp on your work, making little dots.

Finally when it was dry, I mat and layered it on to Ocean Mist card stock. Then  stamp and embossed my sentiment in wow white fine embossing powder, on to a scrap of the same card \stock.

Finally I added some little gems from my stash to match the colours of inks i'd used.

Card Two

Similar idea but just using black ink and Caribbean Blue and Gloss Black drops. Nuvo drops.

Card Three

Set up your stamping positioner, and stamp your sentiments, then by moving the cardstock stamp again but change the ink colour every time you stamp to create a rainbow pattern.

I hope I have shown you how versatile these little sets are and what value for money they are. As crafters we love to use our stash to the maximum ability.

I will be doing some Facebook lives and videos on our craft room page so if you have any topics you would like me to cover please message me through messenger though my Facebook profile.

Take Care and Stay Safe

Happy Stamping
