Hello wonderful crafty people. Today I have 2 cards from one stamped image. I love it when you get more than one card from a design.
I started out by stamping the My Favorite Things Floral Fantasy background stamp in Versamark Ink on to Bristol Smooth card using my Misti to make sure I got a good impression. I then heat embossed using WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder.
I coloured the image in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers in various colours and a water brush.
Once the entire image was coloured in I trimmed it down to be just less than a A6 card blank.
I stamped a sentiment from Altenew Dahlia Blossoms Stamp Set in versamark ink on to vellum and heat embossed using WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder. I trimmed it down to be slightly longer than the width of my card and wrapped it round adhering it to the back of the panel to make sure you wouldn't see the adhesive through the vellum on the front.
I finished by adding coloured sequins to the vellum and card using Multi Medium Matte and adding the panel to a white card blank with foam tape.
Once I'd finished the card and I was tiding up my desk, I picked up the left over piece of the coloured image and thought what a waste to through it out so, I took an other white card blank and used foam tape to stick it the the right hand side. I stamped the same sentiment but in London Fog Memento Ink and added clear sequins to add the final touch. So quick and easy just using what was on my desk.
Beautiful cards Katrina. Love them!x
