This week I'm sharing another love themed card, I like to have a few extra of this style on hand to show my appreciation for people throughout the year.
This week I'm sharing another love themed card, I like to have a few extra of this style on hand to show my appreciation for people throughout the year.
I die cut a panel from watercolour paper using Mama Elephant's "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts and a large scalloped panel from black card stock using Mama Elephant's "Framed Tags" Waverly Creative Cuts. I removed the foam from my Misti stamping tool and secured my watercolour panel to stamp my background using Hero Arts' "Candy Hearts Peek-A-Boo" Cling stamp set and Gina K's Amalgam Jet Black ink. Once the ink was dry I watercoloured my candy hearts using Altenew's Watercolor 36 Pan Set and set it aside to dry.
I used the Lawn Fawn "Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables" and "Lacy Heart Stackables" dies to cut 3 small hearts from both white and black card stock. I adhered my white hearts to my black hearts and secured them in my Misti. I stamped my sentiments from Mama Elephant's "Big News" stamp set using Gina K's Amalgam Jet Black ink.
I popped my sentiment hearts up in a row down the centre of my panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before adhering both of my panels together and to my card base using Scor-Tape.
