Multi-foiling with Spellbinders Essential Glimmer Solid Circle hot foil plate

 

 

Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. Today I'm showing you that you can foil on top of foil! Here I'm creating with the Spellbinders Essential Glimmer Solid Circle Glimmer hot foil plate, and that you can just use it as it is without needing to use up any previous foiled designs. This created a fun background to add simple die-cut and sentiment to, so mix up the colours and get creative! 

Start off by trimming down various colours of Spellbinder Hot Foil rolls to just larger than the  Spellbinders Essential Glimmer Solid Circle Glimmer hot foil plate. I used three colours in this card: Fuschia Flower, Moondust & Prism which you can also by in pack of four or individually. 

 I cut 2 squares of foil in each colour and then foiled the Spellbinders Essential Glimmer Solid Circle Glimmer hot foil plate in each colour several times on a piece Spellbinders Speciality Glimmer Cardstock. Make sure you reposition the circle and allow the colours/circle to overlap. 

 Trim your foiled background down and add to a card base. I thought this fun colourful modern background would contrast well with a soft delicate die-cut. Here I added a white die-cut using Altenew Antique Blossoms die. 

 For the sentiment, add a stamped sentiment from the PinkFresh Studio Celebrating you stamp set in Twilight ink and use the coordinating die set to cut this out. Lastly, the card was embellished with a few clear sequins.
