Using Prismacolor Pencils in your cardmaking with Pinkfresh Studios

Happy Monday friends! Today I’m sharing a set of cards using Prismacolor Pencils and Miss Your Smile Stamp set by Pinkfresh Studios.

I’ve only ever used my pencils once before and that was on navy card so it was so fun to try something new! I love to throw myself into the deep end and just go for it!

This stamp set is mahoosive and perfect for slimline cards, however, I wanted to use my pencils and knew it would take me a lot longer to color the image so I picked a 3.5 inch square of the stamp to focus on.

Colors: crimson red, poppy red, orange, Spanish orange, canary yellow, cream, chartreuse, apple greed, grass green, and a colorless blender.
I went from dark to light in small circular movements and found out quickly that less is more. The blender pencil is amazing and brings your coloring to life.

the first image isn’t as refined and looks a little waxy. This is because I used to much pencil and applied more pressure than needed. Oops!

My second image is much more controlled and refined.

I couldn’t make my mind up if they needed sentiments or not.

I hope you like my projects today and there’s still a couple stamp sets in the shop although I don’t think they’ll last long - they’re called Miss Your Face by Pinkfresh Studios!
have a great week!

lots of love,
