Happy Monday, crafters! Can you believe we're already in June?! Sometimes it feels like we're in some sort of time loop and I don't know what day it is, let alone what month!
Summer is just around the corner and it's been lovely to have lighter evenings. I live in the countryside so my Dennis and I have been taking a late walk every day. He's a jackabee and loves to explore as much as me.
We've seen some beautiful florals recently and it's made me want to try out my new stamp and die set from Altenew, Marbled Bloom.
The first thing that caught my eye was the effect of the stamped layers. It reminded me of some colorful graphic art. Very cool! Now, I am not an expert with layering stamps and my inks are very limited, but I think that's ok. I'd rather use the materials I have and know them well than have a ton of supplies I never use. Here are a few colorways I found to work with Distress Oxides.

I've popped these aside and decided to go with a pink colorway for our project today.
Clean and Simple Marbled Blooms
- Stamp out the large floral is Worn Lipstick, Picked raspberry, Candied Apple, and Seedless Preserves.
- Stamp out the leaves in Twisted Citron, Grass Green, and Peacock Feathers.
- Stamp out the bud and use all the colors above except Seedless Preserves.
- Die cut (or fussy cut) your images and arrange them on a white 5 inch by 3.75 inch panel but don't adhere.
- Once you have your design, stamp your sentiment onto the panel and them assemble and adhere your stamped die cuts.
- Use foam pads to stick your panel onto an A2 card base.
