Hello! What a year it's been and I can't believe we are already in April!
So much has happened in the last four months and I wish time would
slow down a little - ha!
Today I'm sharing the awesome Cube Builder Stencil from Altenew.
I have a big love affair with stencils and often make up tons of
backgrounds with them, ready for that perfect sentiment or scene
to add to it.
Materials:
Altenew Cube Builder Stencil
Altenew Never Give Up Stamp Set
Distress Oxides - Stormy Sky, Black Soot, Peacock Feathers,
Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Antique Linen, Mowed Lawn
Amalgam Ink Pad by Gina K Designs
Lawn Fawn Beam Me Up Stamps
Lawn Fawn Beam Me Up Dies
The cube builder is dead easy to use - stencil one way, flip over and repeat. Bada-bing-bada-bang you're done! For real.
I always make a few backgrounds to get myself familiarised with the
technique - and each one is lush.
The monochrome card really jumped out at me. I brushed on the ink in a sweeping motion and the effect reminds me of the original paper architect,
M.C. Escher. His black, white and grey drawings always use to fascinate
me as a child!
I also made this super cute birthday card for a very dear friend of mine.
She's not an alien or anything but I couldn't resist!
There are so many ways to use these stencils, and I just adore this one.
Thank you for stopping my and visiting the blog today.
Lots of love and hugs
Jennifer xx
