Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. Easy bold cards can really back a bunch, and when you combine bold colours with simple die-cutting you can make a card very quickly. I'm using the Altenew Watercolour markers to create a bold background very quickly and then combine this with some simple die-cutting from PinkFresh studios and this simple easy card came together in no time. With this card, I ended up creating a mini-slimline card however you can easily use this method to create an A5 card or use the technique with other supplies to create larger cards.

Start off trimming a piece of Distress Watercolour cardstock to a 3.5x 5.5" card panel. With the Altenew Watercolour Markers in the Fiesta collection, start adding colour in rainbow order down the panel. Overlap the colours and blend with the brush nibs.

Whilst the panel is drying, you can work on the sentiment. Die-cut the 'You' from the Sentiment Suite: You die out of black cardstock. Before die-cutting, make sure you add Altenew Double-sided adhesive sheets to the back to make it easier to adhere the die-cuts on top of one another.

In addition, heat emboss in white onto black card a sentiment from the Simple Sentiments You stamp set and fussy cut this out.

To finish the background, adhere the rainbow background to a mini slimline cardbase once the blending has dried. Next, die-cut the Essentials nested Chevron die from white card stock. To add this to the card base, add foam pads behind the die-cut and adhere to the card base.

To assemble the rest of the card, add the die-cut sentiment to the front of the card along with the heat embossed sentiment. Finally, embellish with a few Moonstones jewels from Lucy's cards.
