Hello lovelies!
I have a sweet encouragement card using a new-to-me stamp set, Mama Elephant's "Book Worm"! I've loved this set ever since I spotted it and knew I had to make a card to share with all of you!
I have a sweet encouragement card using a new-to-me stamp set, Mama Elephant's "Book Worm"! I've loved this set ever since I spotted it and knew I had to make a card to share with all of you!
I used my Misti stamping tool and Gina K's Amalgam Jet Black ink to stamp my images from the set, I used some post-it tape to mask one pile of books so I could build a taller pile also. I coloured them using my alcohol markers, added highlights and details with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out.
I used the second largest of Mama Elephant's "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts to cut a panel from white card stock, I also used the largest from this set to cut a black panel to frame this panel at the end. I drew two lines where I wanted to separate my background to imitate the floor and wall, I coloured in between the lines with my alcohol markers. I masked up to the line with post-it tape and used Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink for the bottom section of my panel. I masked the bottom section up to the line next and blended the top portion of my panel with Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks.
I secured my blended panel in to my Misti and stamped my sentiment from Pink Fresh Studio's "Word Series: Dream" stamp set using Gina K's Amalgam Jet Black ink. I arranged and adhered all of my images using Scor-Tape and 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape, framed my panel with the black panel I mentioned earlier and adhered to my card base.
Thanks for reading lovelies! I'll see you next week with another card.
