Hello Bumbleberrys,
Today I have a new card for you using some of the new Avery Elle stamp and die sets and distress inks.
All products used are listed below, with links to our store for purchase.
I started with piece of smooth card cut to the same size as my card blank. I always use a separate piece of card to make the front of my card so if I make any mistakes I'm not wasting a whole card.
Using the mini ink blending tool, I covered the card with Tumbled Glass distress ink. I wasn't careful about blending it perfectly as I wanted a sky like feel to it.
On a separate piece of smooth card, I stamped the aeroplane in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and Hello cloud in London Fog Memento Ink. I then used distress inks to colour in the aeroplane by tapping the ink pad on to an acrylic block and spraying with a little water, this makes it like a watercolour paint to paint with.
Once the ink had dried, I used washi tape to secure the coordinating dies over the stamped images, added the pierced clouds dies and ran through my die cutting machine.
Using my tape runner I attached the long cloud borders to the bottom of my card overlapping to create the feel of dimension. Using double sided foam tape cut to size I added the pierced clouds and the aeroplane, then used Anita's tacky glue to attach the Hello cloud.
I added the whole card to a card blank using my tape runner.
I hope you like the card.
