Hi there!
I’m super excited to blog with Bumbleberry’s every Monday! I'm Jen Kray and it's a pleasure to be here. I love stamping and die cutting and will be creating fun, modern projects for you to enjoy each week.
The Project - Altenew Paint-A-Flower Spider Mums
I'm starting off a little rebellious, using Sakura Koi Brush Pens, and Copic Markers on the same cardstock.
Materials:
Altenew Spider Mums
Strathmore Bristol Smooth
Misti
Versafine/Memento Black Inks
Copics C1, C3, C5
Sakura Koi Brush Markers Pink, Yellow, Yellow Green, Sap Green
Kuretake Clean Color Green
Liquitex White, Black, Silver Ink
Foam Pads
- Cut Bristol Smooth 4 inches by 5.25 inches and stamp Spider Mum onto right side using Versifine Ink.
- Color Floral with Sakura Koi Pens (Pink/Yellow & Yellow Green/Sap Green) plus Kuretake Clean Color Green. Allow to dry completely before moving on.
- Once dry, color in the white space with C1, C3, and then C5. You don't want a perfectly smooth finish so don't worry about any streaking. You must allow the alcohol marker to dry completely.
- Once dry, stamp your sentiment, then ink splatter in white, black and silver. Pop onto foam pads and mount onto a standard size A2 card.
If you'd like to purchase the Altenew Spider Mum Set it's great value for money and you can find it HERE: Altenew Spider Mums

I hope that you've enjoyed my first post. I'll see you next Monday with another floral project.
All the best, ta
Jen xx
