Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. You may look at the Catherine Pooler Designs Lantern Festival stamp set and think of Chinese new year, but you can stretch this stamp for much more. Add a rainbow graphic element to the card and you've turned the Chinese lanterns in to party lanterns. Add a few sequins and you have a card for celebration! So let's get started.

Stamp the round lantern from the Lantern Festival stamp set in a rainbow of colours. I choose the following Spa inks: Sparkling Berry, Rouge, Mandarin Spice, Shea Butter, Green Tea, Cove Blue and Queen For A Day.

Also, heat emboss some of the tassles in gold embossing powder. Use the coordinating dies to cut the lanterns out. Wrap some black twine around a white slimline card panel and then adhere this to a white card base.

With varying depths of dimension, add the lanterns onto the front, making sure they hang from the twine. Add a stamped sentiment from the Make A Wish stamp set and trim this down to add to the card panel.

Lastly, use a selection of sequins to embellish the card, mimicking the rainbow colours.
