Hello, It's been a while since I've managed to find time to blog for you (or even make cards) but I'm here today with a few card that started out as one and grew into 4 different cards.
I started out using the Altenew Mandala Die. I cut it out and coloured it using Distress oxides with a blending tool. To do this I used some repositionable adhesive on the back of the Mandala and temporarily adhered it to a piece of scrap card. When I removed the mandala from the scrap card I realised it had left the pattern behind like a stencil, so I cut this unintentional second Mandala out too.
I stuck the original die cut on to a square white card and used the Altenew Mega Hello Die to cut out 3 hello die cuts from black card and stacked them together. I adhered it to the front of the card, added some Spectrum Noir Shimmer Pen and a layer of Glossy Accents to finish the card.
For the second Mandala I continued the rainbow colour scheme on to a square white card using more Distress Oxides and added the Mandala on top.
I then looked at the black card that I used to cut out the Mega Hello Dies from and thought I'd try and use them on a card too.
For the first card I took a piece of white card A6 size and used the same distress inks to cover the whole card in a rainbow pattern.
I Glued the die cut negative on top and put all the little pieces back in place.
I love how the black piece was ever so slightly smaller than the black piece so the rainbow edge just peeks out.
The second black card was even easier, I just added some gold glitter card behind the black card and then again added in the middle of the letters.
So there we have it, 4 cards that all evolved from the one original card.
I hope this might give you a few idea, how you can stretch your supplies too.
