Quick elegant CAS card with no stamping - PinkFresh Studio foil plates and dies

Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. Christmas is almost upon us, so I'm making a different kind of card that you may find handy after the big day. I've been playing around with my Glimmer Hot Foil machine and have got a few more hot foil plates including the Brushed sentiments from PinkFresh Studio. When you pair your card back to a simple colour scheme you can make an easy CAS card with no stamping and few items to make it bling. 

Start off by foiling the Brushed sentiments hot foil plate from PinkFresh Studio with gold hot foil onto white card. To do this, you'll need to use a hot foil machine such as the Spellbinders glimmer machine. 

Alternatively, you pick up the Brushed sentiment stamp set and heat emboss this in gold for a similar look. Next, used the coordinating Brushed Sentiment die set to cut the sentiments out. 

In addition, die-cut the Essential Folk Edge Circle dies from white card stock and foam mount these onto a white cardbase. Next, foam mount the sentiment on top of the circle die-cuts and embellish with gold sequins to finish the card. 

To create a different look, simply add some ink blending to the card base first to make the die-cuts pop. 

For this card, ink blending with blending brushes Something Borrowed Ink fading this out towards the edge. Make sure the ink expands past the width of the biggest circle die. Repeat the ink blending with Suede Shoes and the Dress Blue, concentrating more of the ink towards the centre to darken the fade. 

Finish with another foiled sentiment and embellished with colour co-ordinating sequins.
