Step Up Your Ink Blended Backgrounds

• Die cut the congrats in watercolor card, and twice in black card. 
• Ink blend the congrats die cut, top to bottom - speckled egg, seedless preserve, and then picked raspberry. This saves time and supplies as your have zero waste.
• Adhere a drop shadow using both black die cuts, one on either side. 
• Stamp out, "I'M SO JELLY" with black ink. Trim. 
• Trim an A2 card and an 4.75" x 3.5". 
• Assemble with adhesive, and foam pads. 

Card 2 - Mixed Media Congrats

• Trim all your layers - A2 card base in smooth white card, black card 5.25" x 4", and watercolor card, 5" x 3.75". 
• Die cut "CONGRATS" one in white, and one in black. 
• Ink blend on the watercolor panel - speckled egg, seedless preserve, and picked raspberry. 
• Use the Hero Arts Glitter Paste though the Abstract Stencil, directly over your ink blended background. Be sure to use the glitter paste in one consistent way as the oxides will re-activate. I went top to bottom to ensure the ink-blending wasn't disturbed. 

• Dry with a heat gun. The glitter paste through a stencil really elevates the ink-blended panel. 
• Assemble your card. 

Using the glitter paste really lifts the Distress Oxides and makes them super vibrant! The stencil also add some interest, and texture to your card, without taking away from your beautifully blended background.
