Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. One thing I love with Catherine Pooler Designs is the pattern paper list on the front the ink colours that coordinate with the paper. Now if you struggle to put colours together, then this is the perfect solution for you. Here you can easily take inspiration from pattern paper and use this to help create a beautiful card that looks cohesive in no time. This card uses the lovely Touch of Frost pattern paper which has a beautiful soft colour palette featuring colours from the Spa ink collection. This is muted toned ink colours that have a grey undertone to them. So let's get started.

Start off by colouring cardstock with your ink pads using the direct to paper method. For this card, I used Pink Champagne, Hot Tub, Tranquil and Cove Blue inks which feature in the Touch of Frost Pattern paper pack. Next use the two snowflake dies in the Winter Frames die-set to cut out from this coloured cardstock.

To create the glitter element, adhere Altenew Double sided adhesive sheets to both side so a piece of white cardstock and die-cut this with the Catherine Pooler Circle Weave die.

To add some sparkle, remove the adhesive backing sheet on the front of the die-cut and cover with silver glitter. Make sure you burnish this in to ensure it sticks well.

Take a piece of the stripped pattern paper from the Touch Of Frost pattern paper and strip this down into a strip and adhere to a white card base.

Next, adhere the die-cut snowflakes around the glitter die cut, using liquid adhesive to keep them in place. Stamp and heat emboss in silver a sentiment from the Cheerful Greetings stamp set. After die-cutting with the coordinating die, adhere the sentiment to the front.

Lastly, embellish the card with sequins from the Portland sequin mix.
