Hello lovelies!
This week I'm sharing a simple card using Mama Elephant's "Oh Puppy Tree" stamp set! I'm absolutely in love with this set, all of the puppies are adorable and it's easy to mass produce simple cards with, perfect for the holiday season!

I started by stamping out my image on white card stock, I used my Misti stamping tool and Gina K's Amalgam Jet Black ink. With larger images it's often difficult to get a clear, crisp image with stamping one time so the Misti comes in handy to keep your card in place while you stamp it again. I coloured my images with my alcohol markers, I added some spots to a couple of the dogs and drew around them with a black pen. I used a white gel pen to add details and highlights before fussy cutting it out.
I used the second largest of Mama Elephant's "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts to cut a panel from white card stock. I blended my panel with Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks and distressed it with some water. I cleaned up any excess water before splattering my panel with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink, blue metallic watercolour paint and white metallic watercolour paint and set aside to dry.

I secured some black card stock in my Misti and prepped it with my powder tool applicator. I stamped my sentiment using Versamark ink, coated it in Lawn Fawn's White Embossing Powder and set it with my heat tool. Once it had cooled I trimmed it down and cut the ends in to a banner shape. I cut a black panel to frame my splattered panel using the largest of Mama Elephant's "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts and adhered my panels together using Scor-Tape. I popped my image and sentiment up using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and adhered my panel to my card base.
Thanks for reading lovelies! I'll see you next week with another card.
Claire
