Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. I couldn't make a card featuring Catherine Pooler Design products without including some ink blending. These inks blend beautifully and I love the ink collections as they are ready-made rainbows. I picked Date Night inks from the Party collection to create a fun bright pastel inspired card with some simple rainbow ink blending. So let's continue the celebrations for the 5th Inkaversary!
Written and photos Simple rainbow ink blending:
Temporary adhere the Wavy Line stencil down over a white card panel and with blending brushes start to blending the Date Night ink colours over the stencil for a beautiful pastel rainbow. This collection of inks includes the following colours:
- Pucker Up
- Do-si-do
- Ctching Rays
- Chiffon
- In The Park
- Cummerbund
- Serenade
- Drive-in
Remove the stencil to reveal a beautiful pastel ink blending background. Trim this panel down and add it to a white card base.
For the sentiment, die-cut the Party Word die out of white card three times, layering up for dimension. Cover with embossing ink and heat set Cummerbund Embossing Glitter over the top. This coordinates with the Cummerbund ink.
Adhere the sentiment to the front and stamp a smaller sentiment from the Time To Party stamp set in In the Park ink before trimming down and adding to the front. Lastly, embellish with a selection of sequins following along the rainbow colour scheme.
