Hello crafty people, It's been a few weeks since I've posted a blog post for you so today I've got an A-maze-ing interactive card for you.
Using the My Favorite Things Die-namics Circle Shaker Window & Frame I used the frame die to cut out a frame and circle from purple card, the card I used is double sided with one side being a lighter shade than the other. I used this to my advantage and used the lighter coloured circle for my maze background.
I worked out where I wanted my maze to go and stuck down the light purple circle.I placed the Maze Shapes in white on top and added a Maze Sphere into the maze. I then used a
Circle Shaker Pouch adhered with Multi Medium Matte to enclose the maze.
I added the frame in the darker purple to cover the edges of the shaker pouch.
Using the same purple cardstock, I cut out a Y and a U using the Double Cut Alphabet Dies from Concord & 9th. I turned the centres over so the letters matched the maze O and adhered them down either side of the maze to make the word YOU.
Next, I stamped the A-maze-ing in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and
using the
Grape Jelly Memento Ink
using the
You're A-maze-ing stamp set from My Favorite Things. I used the "You're A-maze-ing" and masked off the "you're" with masking tape to just get "A-maze-ing" and stamped the "are" from a lawn fawn stamp set (which I can't remember which one)
For the left hand side I used the My Favorite Things
Radiating Rays stencil with
Distress Oxide - Wilted Violet and a Mini Ink Blending Tool to add matching purple rays and finished by adding some purple sequins.
I noticed I had a smudge of ink next to the sentiment, so I cut out a small heart from the die set covered it in Spectrum Noir Sparkle Clear Overlay and added Glossy Accents on top.
