Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. One way to create a background quickly is to make a watercolour background. If you don't have watercolours, then you can fake it by using your reinkers. Watercolour background with reinkers is perfect for heat embossing on, and as I still love the Catherine Pooler Boho Fall release, I created another autumn thank you card. Written and photos TITLE: Start off by wetting a piece of watercolour cardstock with clean water. Add a few drops of re-inker to an acrylic block - these work great as makeshift palettes....

If you love to use embossing paste with your stencils, then you'll also love to create your own custom coloured paste to use. It is so simple to create custom coloured embossing paste and even if you don't have a lot of colours you can still create with this technique.
